AIB DataHack - Nov 10th
Two separate programming competitions on the same day in the same place - a Datathon and a Hackathon.
Last
year's event saw over 200 students from many different Universities /
Institutes of Technology attend. This year for the first time, AIB will
be holding the event in their brand new Technology Centre of Excellence
in Central Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18. Entrants are invited from
Irish 3rd Level colleges to enter and attend the DataHack 10th November
2018 for a fun 12-hour event (8am - 8pm) where they will compete for
great prizes.

Accenture opportunities for Data Analytics students
Accenture will be at the careers fair on the 10th October, where they can speak to Data Analytics students interested in applying to the graduate programme.
Students can also sign up to one of the Accenture Solves events in the following link: http://www.consultingoncampus. com/#/It is a chance to meet some of the current graduates and get some tips on the application process. This is a Dublin based event and there is €1,000 worth of prizes available each night.

Student Volunteer needed: Evaluation of Oracle Cloud services
The Oracle User Group is looking for a student volunteer to perform an evaluation of one of Oracle's many cloud services.
You will be required to write up a report of your experiences and the work/use case you implemented.
For example, do you want to build a Chatbot, try out the BlockChain service, the API service, the Developer service, the Data Integration service, the Application Container service, etc.
There is a long list of possible cloud services. Click here to see the full list. Make sure to click on the the Platform drop down at the top of the webpage
You can get $300 of free credit to do an initial evaluation of these services.
If you get elected for this project you will be given access to additional cloud credits to complete the project.
We are looking for one student for this project. An additional student may also be selected.
