The meetup will be in Bank of Ireland, Grand Canal Dock between 18:00 and 20:00.
The agenda for the evening is:
8:00-18:20 : Arrival, networking and enjoying the refreshments
18:20-18:30 : Introductions, overview of meet-up, etc
18:30-19:10 : Dataguard with RAC and Multi_tenant experiences.
A brief discussion of an architecture that uses Dataguard in a RAC
and multi-tenant environment, with a focus on some key bugs and
situations to be aware of for administration purposes. Will also include
how rman backups are taken in this configuration
19:10-19:50 : Oracle Analytics Cloud Service
Have you heard about the newly released Oracle Analytics Cloud Service (OACS)?
Vertice will be reviewing the recently released OAC suite and discuss
how this is more than just an addition to the Analytics range. This is a
change to the prior individual products in terms of specific function
in analytics, its now the full suite and caters for much wider needs.
Vertice are happy to be early adopters of the OAC suite and have a
number of projects underway and examples of how we are deploying it.
So a general overview of OAC, with some early insights into projects on the ground (or in the cloud!).
