AON Centre for Innovation & Analytics to visit DIT

Data Analytics people might be particularly interested in the addition of ACIA (The Aon Centre for Innovation and Analytics) to the Pizza Schedule for next week.

The Pizza Schedule refers to the School of Computing industry week  during which companies will present to DIT students about current job opportunities in room KE-1-014 either at 13:00 or at 17:00.

Dublin Augmented Reality Experience Project

The Dublin Institute of Technology in collaboration with Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) are working with Dublin City Council on a project to provide Augmented Reality (AR) applications to tourists in Dublin City via the free wifi service that Dublin City Council are setting up.   

The Dublin Augmented Reality Experience Project is looking for an MSc student to undertake a proof of concept in Phase 3 of the DARE project as their MSc project.  Details are available here.  If interested please contact Sarah Jane Delany.

Next Analytics Club Meet-Up

Following on the success of the last Analytics Club Meet-Up the next one will be held in the same location as before, downstairs in Peadar Kearney's on Dame St. (www.peadarkearneys.com), at 20:00 on Tuesday May 7th.
