DT285/DT286 Probability & Statistics Lab Class Cancelled

Hi folks,

The DIT networks have crashed this evening and so it is not possible for students to log on to lab machines. For this reason the DT285/DT286 lab class will be cancelled this evening. Aoife will, however, be present in the Aungier St. lab at 18:30 to answer any questions people have about the assignment.

Apologies for the short notice.

Brian.

Dublinked Thematic Workshop

Date:
Thursday, December 8, 2011 - 09:30 to 12:00

The first event of the Dublinked innovation network is a planning themed workshop to explore the potential of planning open data, including topics such as Strategic Planning, Planning Application, and issues surrounding Environment & Heritage. This is in response to the high demand for planning information since the launch of the Dublinked open data portal.

Workshop participants will hear from Planning Experts, Local Authority Planning Representatives and a new startup company that is currently using open data to develop a planning application. There will also be a demonstration of additional planning data to be added to Dublinked.ie. The format will give participants an opportunity to develop ideas on how they might use this data differently and to voice their views on further data they would like.
